I found Birmingham Beach just when I needed them. After playing indoor for 3 years and graduating early, I knew I needed a change. I decided to enter the transfer portal to complete my extra course work for PT school, and wanted to play beach for my last year. Birmingham Beach helped me through this transition in so many ways. Joe, Jodie, and other coaches within the club provided me with the training, mentorship, knowledge, and support that I needed to guide me through this transformative time.
Birmingham Beach is so much more than a volleyball club, because beach volleyball is more than a game — it is community, passion, and hard work. It’s home! This club exhibits everything we love about sports, and I couldn’t recommend it enough.
